With her immediate family born and brought up in India, Sheena Mehta's affair with Indian food, tradition, colour, lifestyle and by no means least 'Bollywood' could only be described as intricate.
Over the years, thanks mostly to her life as a chef and her obsession of hunting down spices she was able to travel and enjoy most of the world's gastronomies.
Now as the company's founder and her first hand experience with spices combined with a modern western twist she has formed the bases of delivering great spice creations for great curry sensations - Spice in the Box.
Today the range has grown to include Indian, Malaysian, Caribbean, Thai, Moroccan, Indonesian, Portuguese, Turkish and Cuban. We pride ourselves in supplying exotic authentic blends that have truly captured the distinctive flavours of the world cuisine.
