Browsing

To begin shopping, simply choose a product range from the menu along the top of this page. Our current range includes Chicken, Lamb, Fish and Vegetarian Dishes, as well as our Sprinkle 'n' Grill products that can be barbequed, grilled or oven cooked.

When you've selected a product range, scroll down the page to browse the list of available dishes. You can click on a product to find out more and to see a larger picture.

Adding a product to your basket

To add a product to your Shopping Basket, select the 'Add to Basket' button. This will open your Shopping Basket where you can amend the quantity of the product you've chosen.

Changing items and quantities

If you change your mind and don't want a product, simply select a quantity of '0' and the item will be removed from your Shopping Basket. As you continue browsing our website, your Shopping Basket will remember the items you've selected as you progress.

To look through the contents of your Shopping Basket at any time, just select the 'View your Basket' link at the top of every page.

Delivery

Delivery is charged as follows:

More than 10 £4.00 for the first ten items, plus 20p per subsequent item

The total delivery cost is calculated on Your Basket page. Orders are usually dispatched within 24 hours of being placed; please allow up to 2-5 working days for your products to arrive.

International customers: please contact us for a delivery quotation. Unfortunately, we may not be able to ship to the following countries because of food import rules: Australia, United States, Latin America, South America, Africa, Israel, Turkey and Greece. Most areas in the Middle East will not allow food products through customs.

Checkout

After you've finished adding products to Your Shopping Basket, select the 'Proceed to Checkout' link where you'll be asked for your delivery and payment details. You can cancel your order at any stage during this process and there's no commitment to purchase until you've entered your credit card details and submitted the order.

Our Checkout is protected within a secure, encrypted environment.

Order acknowledgement

For your peace of mind, within minutes of placing your order, you'll receive an auto-generated order acknowledgement via email outlining all the details. Please double check this email and contact us immediately if you've made a mistake so that we can amend it for you.

Returns policy

You may return any ordered and correctly supplied item(s) to us subject to the following conditions:

  • Goods must be returned in their original packaging within 7 days.
  • Goods returned must be in a saleable condition.
  • Goods must be intact, unopened, undamaged with tamper seals intact where appropriate.

Subject to the above conditions we will provide refund less any credit / debit card expenses and original postage expenses. It will be the customer's responsibility to arrange return posting. No liability will be accepted by Spice in the Box Ltd for returned goods that are either lost in transit or damaged in transit. Proof of posting is advisable.

Damaged goods & short orders

You must notify Spice in the Box of any claim that goods have been delivered damaged or are not of the correct quantity. To do this please contact us.

Storage

Spice in the Box will not accept liability for any defect in the goods (including, but not limited to, infestation or mould) arising from incorrect storage by the customer. The products should be kept in air-tight, opaque containers in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight.

Quality

Every effort is made to ensure that our products are of the highest quality and in good condition. If we are fully satisfied that the products have been stored under optimum conditions and the Customer is not fully satisfied with their quality, we will, at our own discretion, refund the cost or exchange the goods up to three months from the date of delivery. The Company must be afforded a reasonable opportunity and facilities to investigate any claims made under this condition.

Product suitability

Products supplied by Spice in the Box are used for a wide variety of purposes and it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the products are appropriately used. All representations, warranties, conditions or terms relating to the fitness for purpose are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by the Law and Spice in the Box accepts no liability.
